Accessibility Information

  • Gruvelageret lies about 40 minutes' walk from city center, but taxi goes all the way to entrance.
  • Main entrance has a small stair with 4 steps.
  • If need for assistance and/or in wheelchair we can help you through kitchen entrance which has only one step. Let us know when you book your table.
  • Toilet is a bit small. By need of assistance (lifting etc) we can close the door to hallway for privacy. Talk with staff upon arrival and they will help secure for privacy.
  • Many of the tables have benches without back support, but we also have tables where seating is with back support. Let us know when you book your table if you need a chair instead of bench.
  • When we have a full restaurant there can be loud acoustics. If this can be a nuisance for you, give us a notice when you book your table and we can give you recommendations on date or time to book when it is quieter.
  • Gruvelageret has normal lighting and low background music.
  • Set Menu, waiters take drinking orders by the table.

Vi har en sterk lidenskap for mat og vin, vi ønsker å servere et måltid med preg av Arktis og det nordiske, men som også viser mangfoldet i å bo like under Nordpolen. Vi samarbeider med lokale produsenter og er alltid på søken etter de beste produktene. I juni 2022 ble vi Miljøfyrtårnsertifisert og har siden jobbet kontinuerlig med å begrense matsvinn og velge de beste produkter fra bevisste leverandører. Fra produktet kjøpes inn, fraktes, tilberedes og havner på tallerkenen din ønsker vi å gi deg en god matopplevelse samtidig som at vi sitter igjen med minst mulig avfall og matsvinn.

We are cooperating with local producers and are continuously searching for the best products. We were Eco-Lightning certificated in 2022 and have since worked to limit food waste and choose the best product from environmental  conscious suppliers. We are focused that from a product is bought, delivered, prepared, and served on your plate that we give you a good food experience, and leaves us with minimum food waste and garbage.
